We're Hiring | Consultant Oral Surgeon – Dubai, UAE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Oral Surgeon to join a leading healthcare provider in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will provide specialized oral surgical care, performing advanced dental surgical procedures while ensuring excellent patient outcomes and high standards of clinical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients requiring surgical dental care.
• Perform advanced oral surgical procedures, including:
• Complex tooth extractions
• Surgical removal of impacted teeth
• Dental implant placement
• Bone grafting procedures
• Sinus lift procedures
• Management of oral infections and dental abscesses
• Minor oral surgical procedures
• Biopsy and management of oral lesions
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide pre-operative consultation and post-operative care instructions.
• Manage surgical complications and ensure appropriate patient follow-up.
• Collaborate with general dentists, prosthodontists, orthodontists, periodontists, and other dental specialists.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
• Support mentoring and training of junior dental professionals where applicable.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• BDS/DDS or equivalent dental qualification.
• Postgraduate qualification in Oral Surgery / Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (MDS/MS or equivalent recognized qualification).
• Minimum 5–10 years of post-specialization experience at Consultant level.
• Eligibility for or possession of a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license.
• Strong experience in oral surgical procedures, implant surgery, and patient management.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
• Commitment to delivering safe, ethical, and high-quality dental care.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in advanced dental clinics, hospitals, or multidisciplinary dental centers.
• Expertise in implant surgery and complex oral surgical cases is highly preferred.
• UAE or GCC experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
