As a Consultant Neurologist, you will be responsible for providing expert neurological consultations, diagnosing complex neurological conditions, and delivering personalized treatment plans. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and examinations
• Order and interpret a range of diagnostic tests including MRI, CT scans, EEG, and EMG
• Diagnose and manage neurological disorders such as strokes, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, and neurodegenerative conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and management plans
• Provide patient education and counseling regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognoses
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education

Requirements

• Proven experience in a consultant neurologist role, preferably within the private healthcare sector
• Excellent clinical knowledge of a broad range of neurological disorders and treatments
• Proficiency in interpreting neurodiagnostic tests and imaging
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Familiarity with hospital information systems and electronic health records
