We're Hiring | Consultant Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician – Dubai, UAE

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician to join a leading healthcare provider in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will provide specialized assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of children and adolescents with developmental, behavioral, and neurological conditions while working within a multidisciplinary pediatric care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of children with neurodevelopmental and behavioral concerns.
• Diagnose and manage conditions including:
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
• Global Developmental Delay
• Intellectual Disability
• Learning Disabilities
• Cerebral Palsy
• Speech and language developmental disorders
• Behavioral and emotional developmental conditions
• Conduct detailed developmental assessments and create individualized treatment and follow-up plans.
• Monitor developmental milestones and provide early intervention recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, pediatric neurologists, child psychiatrists, and special educators.
• Provide family counseling, education, and support regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and long-term care planning.
• Interpret developmental assessments, neurological evaluations, and relevant investigations.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with DHA standards, clinical governance, and patient safety policies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, clinical audits, quality improvement programs, CME activities, and professional development.
• Mentor junior physicians and contribute to teaching and clinical service development.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
• Board Certification / Fellowship / recognized postgraduate qualification in:
• Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics
• Developmental Pediatrics
• Pediatrics with advanced training in Child Development
• Minimum 5–10 years of post-specialization experience at Consultant level.
• Eligibility for or possession of a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Consultant license.
• Strong expertise in developmental assessment, behavioral pediatrics, and management of complex neurodevelopmental conditions.
• Excellent communication skills with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to evidence-based, compassionate, family-centered care.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience working in internationally accredited pediatric hospitals, developmental centers, or tertiary care facilities.
• Experience with early intervention programs and multidisciplinary rehabilitation services.
• UAE or GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Additional expertise in autism assessment, ADHD management, or developmental rehabilitation is an advantage.
