SearchPlus HR is currently seeking a skilled Consultant Neonatologist to join a leading University Healthcare institution. This role involves delivering specialized neonatal care while contributing to the academic environment through teaching and research.

As a Consultant Neonatologist, you will provide comprehensive care to newborns requiring intensive medical attention and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams. Your involvement will extend to mentoring medical students and residents, supporting clinical research, and advancing neonatal care practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert neonatal care to critically ill and premature infants within the university healthcare setting.
• Conduct thorough assessments, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine.
• Perform neonatal procedures and ensure continuous patient monitoring and management.
• Supervise, mentor, and educate medical students, residents, and healthcare trainees in the NICU.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and prognosis.
• Participate actively in clinical research projects and contribute to publications in neonatology.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.

Requirements

• Board certification in Pediatrics and Neonatology with substantial NICU experience.
• Strong clinical skills in managing complex neonatal cases and procedural expertise.
• Excellent teaching and mentoring capabilities with experience in an academic environment.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with families, trainees, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to research and continuous professional development.
