Job Description


The objective of this assignment is to support
the ICRAF Green and Sustainable Financing team in collecting, compiling, and
analysing data on forest and agricultural financing mechanisms across RCP
countries. The consultant will assist in developing a comprehensive database of
financing instruments and stakeholders, contributing to a baseline study and
high-potential area maps for bankable primary forest conservation projects.


The consultant shall undertake the following
tasks:


  1. Assist in collecting and compiling data on
    forest and agriculture financing mechanisms in 5 countries

  2. Identify types of financing schemes (e.g.,
    public, private, blended, or innovative financing) in 5 countries

  3. Assist in developing and maintaining a
    database of financing instruments and stakeholders.

  4. Perform literature reviews and systematic
    reviews on forest and agriculture financing mechanisms in 5 countries

  5. Assist in data scraping and extraction from
    online financial and project databases.

  6. Participate in team meetings, share
    progress updates, and document research findings.

  7. Be available to work at the ICRAF Indonesia
    office in Bogor.


Outputs:

A comprehensive,
searchable database compiling forest and agriculture financing schemes; a
summarized stakeholder directory identifying key actors in green and
sustainable financing, including government institutions, financial bodies,
NGOs, and private sector partners; and a final consultancy report summarizing
learning experiences, methodologies, and contributions to the project.
