Contigo Healthcare is pleased to partner with a leading NHS Trust to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine on a permanent basis. This position is ideal for a skilled respiratory physician keen to join a dedicated and supportive team committed to delivering outstanding respiratory care. The role includes mandatory participation in General Internal Medicine (GIM) on-call duties and offers ample opportunities for professional development and collaborative clinical practice.

Salary:

Negotiable Salary, dependent on experience.

Benefits:

Relocation Package up to £20,000, dependent on criteria.

Essential Criteria:

• GMC full registration & licence (MRCP)

• On or within 6 months of GMC Specialist Register in Respiratory Medicine (or expected CESR approval)

• Independent Consultant-level clinical experience in Respiratory Medicine

• Mandatory participation in GIM on-call rota (1:16 weekdays, 1:8 weekends)

• Ability to commit to 10 PAs

Working Hours / On-Call:

• On-call commitment: 1:16 weekdays, 1:8 weekends

• 10 PAs

CV Requirements:

• CV must clearly demonstrate experience & competencies for Respiratory Medicine at Consultant level.

Additional Notes:

• The department cannot support new Portfolio Pathway (CESR) applicants; candidates must have already submitted CESR application or be on the Specialist Register.

• Shortlisted candidates must attend a Technical Specification Panel (virtual) and an Advisory Appointment Committee (in-person).
