Norfolk County Council is seeking an outstanding Consultant in Public Health to join its ambitious and well-established Public Health team.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic leadership across a large and diverse county, working with partners across local government, the NHS, the voluntary sector and communities to improve health outcomes and reduce inequalities.
About the Role
As a Consultant in Public Health, you will support the Director of Public Health in delivering Norfolk County Council’s statutory public health responsibilities and wider ambitions to improve population health and wellbeing.
Portfolio responsibilities will be agreed with the successful candidate. The role will focus on providing capacity and resilience to cover maternity and sick leave in the team and to carry out a rapid review of the county council health protection function.
