We're Hiring | Consultant Gynecologist – Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Gynecologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will provide expert medical and surgical gynecological care, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate women's healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, evaluate, and manage a wide range of gynecological conditions, including:
• Menstrual disorders
• Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
• Endometriosis
• Uterine fibroids
• Ovarian cysts
• Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)
• Menopausal disorders
• Cervical and ovarian abnormalities

• Perform routine gynecological examinations, cervical cancer screening, colposcopy, and preventive women's health assessments.
• Perform a variety of gynecological surgical procedures, including:
• Hysteroscopy
• Laparoscopy
• Hysterectomy
• Myomectomy
• Ovarian cystectomy
• Dilatation and Curettage (D&C)
• Other minimally invasive gynecological procedures within the scope of practice

• Evaluate and manage infertility, reproductive health concerns, and family planning services where applicable.
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care.
• Counsel patients on diagnosis, treatment options, preventive care, and long-term health management.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, reproductive medicine specialists, oncologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DOH Abu Dhabi regulations and hospital policies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
• Mentor junior physicians and contribute to departmental education and service development.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
• Board Certification, Fellowship, Arab Board, or equivalent recognized Consultant qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Minimum 5–10 years of post-specialization experience at the Consultant level.
• Eligibility for or possession of a Department of Health (DOH) – Abu Dhabi Consultant license.
• Strong expertise in medical and surgical gynecology, including minimally invasive gynecological procedures.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Commitment to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered women's healthcare.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience working in internationally accredited hospitals or women's health centers.
• Fellowship training or expertise in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Reproductive Medicine, Urogynecology, or Gynecologic Oncology is an added advantage.
• UAE or GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
