We're Hiring | Consultant Gynecologist – Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Gynecologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive women’s healthcare services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of gynecological conditions while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gynecological consultations, assessments, and treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gynecological conditions, including:
• Menstrual disorders
• Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
• Endometriosis
• Fibroids
• Ovarian cysts
• Pelvic pain
• Infertility-related gynecological concerns
• Menopausal health issues
• Gynecological infections and hormonal disorders
• Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries, including:
• Hysterectomy
• Laparoscopic gynecological procedures (where applicable)
• Hysteroscopy
• Colposcopy
• Management of benign gynecological conditions
• Provide preventive women’s health services, screening, and health education.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for gynecological patients.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, fertility specialists, radiologists, oncologists, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with DOH standards, clinical governance, and patient safety policies.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, CME activities, and departmental meetings.
• Mentor junior doctors and contribute to clinical service development where applicable.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
• Board Certification / Fellowship / recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Minimum 5–10 years of post-specialization experience at Consultant level.
• Eligibility for or possession of a Department of Health (DOH) – Abu Dhabi Consultant license.
• Strong expertise in general gynecology, minimally invasive procedures, and women’s health management.
• Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience working in internationally accredited hospitals or women’s health centers.
• Expertise in laparoscopic surgery, advanced hysteroscopy, or reproductive gynecology is an advantage.
• UAE or GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong focus on patient satisfaction and clinical excellence.
