The Consultant Government Grants (“Consultant”) will be responsible for researching and preparing all hiring and training grants for all clients, and assist with the compliance reporting post grant approvals. In addition, the Consultant will assist Managers and Senior Consultants with researching appropriate grants for client initiatives, developing funding analysis reports and monitoring deliverables. The Consultant will also be responsible for researching, updating and maintaining the Firm’s Grant Program Database. This will include continually researching new and existing programs, entering updates and reporting status changes to the team. The position will demand an attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a constantly changing environment.

Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business/Administration, Accounting, Finance, Political Science, English, Journalism or Science is required. General knowledge of Federal and Provincial Grants, business development and business plan writing would be strong assets.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.

Work Environment:
• Standard indoor working environment.
• Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
• Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm in person and via e-mail and telephone.

• Independent travel requirement: Up to 10-20%.
