We are looking for a highly experienced Consultant General Surgeon to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality surgical care, performing complex procedures, and ensuring comprehensive management of patients before, during, and after surgery. This role demands a strong commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients for surgical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures with precision and care
• Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care to optimize recovery
• Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare providers to ensure holistic patient care
• Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures, risks, and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of surgical procedures and patient progress
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with surgical advancements
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and research activities as required

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Completion of General Surgery residency and board certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant General Surgeon
• Proficiency in a broad range of surgical techniques and procedures
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous
