Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations to determine surgical needs and formulate treatment plans.
• Carry out a spectrum of general surgical procedures in line with best practice standards.
• Oversee perioperative care, ensuring patient safety before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate effectively with allied health professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and surgical documentation.
• Educate patients and relatives on surgical options, potential risks, and recovery protocols.
• Engage in continuous professional development to maintain expertise in surgical advancements.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Completed residency and board certification in General Surgery.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing General Surgeon.
• Strong surgical skills with a track record of successful complex surgeries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Valid medical license to practice in the Gulf region or willingness to obtain it.
