What You Will Do
As a Consultant within the Guidehouse Federal Health Advisory practice, you will help clients transform their business processes,develop and implement organizational strategies andculturaltransformations,improve efficiency and operations, increase transparencyandperformancemanagement,andcomply withFederal laws and regulations. You willserve asa critical member of project teams, helpingourclients solve complex public health and business challenges from strategy through execution. This includes conducting qualitative andqualitativedataanalysis,preparingand presenting well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives,andsupportingday-to-day operationalmeetings withclients and consulting leaders.

Serve as a critical team member for management consulting projects, from project initiation, through analysis, solutions development, implementation, andcloseout; projects can span organizational development and transformation, strategic planning and implementation, business process improvement, risk management, and change management and strategic communications, as well as direct-mission support to federal health clients
Apply critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills to collect quantitative and qualitative data (e.g., interviews, focus groups, surveys,documentand dataset review)
Analyze quantitative and qualitative data and develop meaningful insights to address complex organizational challenges and support client decision-making
Support the end-to-end development of client work products and presentations, such as root cause and gapanalysis, findings and recommendation reports, requirements documents, process flows, standard operating procedures, strategic plans, strategic communications, and reporting dashboards
Build and sustain meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues
Contribute to positive, inclusive team culture and collaborative working environment
Understand and use firm capabilities, solutions, and methodologies
Support internal and business development initiatives, such as communities of practice and proposals
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’sDegree with aconcentration in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Communications, Economics, Finance, Health Policy, Management/Information Systems, Public Administration, Public Health, Public Policy, or other related STEM majors
0-1years of professional experience in consulting, strategy, organizational transformation, organizational development, process improvement, workforce strategy, change management, communications, monitoring and evaluation, or emergency response and preparedness
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience using data to support recommendations
What Would Be NiceToHave
Exposure to process improvement, project management, or change management concepts (coursework, internships, or certifications such as Lean Six Sigma or CAPM)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment
Experience collaborating with teammates and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders(from line staff to senior leaders)
Strong written and visual communication skills, including creating clear presentations and materials
Basic familiarity with financial concepts (e.g., budgeting, cost analysis, or financial operations) through coursework or experience
Interest in or exposure to publichealthand/orfederal governmentwork
Advancedproficiencywith MS Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Proficiencyin data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Familiarity with or curiosityregardingAI tools to improve efficiency and delivery
