We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Family Medicine Physician to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary healthcare services, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of patients across all age groups.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive family medicine care for individuals and families across all age groups.

Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.

Conduct preventive health assessments, routine screenings, and health promotion activities.

Manage chronic diseases, including:

• Diabetes Mellitus
• Hypertension
• Cardiovascular diseases
• Asthma and respiratory conditions
• Thyroid disorders
• Obesity and metabolic disorders
• Lifestyle-related diseases

Provide counseling on preventive medicine, nutrition, lifestyle modification, and wellness.

Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate referrals to appropriate specialists when required.

Provide continuity of care and comprehensive follow-up for patients with complex medical needs.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated patient care.

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with DOH Abu Dhabi regulations and hospital policies.

Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).

Support teaching and mentoring of junior physicians and contribute to service development.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
• Board Certification, Fellowship, Arab Board, MRCGP, or equivalent recognized qualification in Family Medicine
• Minimum 5–10 years of post-specialization experience at Consultant level.
• Eligibility for or possession of a Department of Health (DOH) – Abu Dhabi Consultant license
• Strong clinical expertise in primary care, preventive medicine, and chronic disease management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and patient management skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered, evidence-based healthcare.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience working in internationally accredited hospitals, family medicine centers, or primary healthcare networks.
• UAE or GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Additional expertise in Lifestyle Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Women’s Health, Geriatrics, or Chronic Disease Management is an advantage.
