We are looking for a Consultant – EYP Transaction Diligence with a primary focus on Financial Due Diligence to join our Strategy and Transactions team. You’ll support clients in making informed decisions when buying, investing in, or growing businesses, combining financial analysis with broader commercial and strategic insights.

What You’ll Do

As a Consultant, you will work closely with clients and senior colleagues to assess business performance, identify risks, and provide actionable recommendations.

Your main focus will be Financial Due Diligence, including:

• Analyzing financial statements, forecasts, and key financial drivers to assess the financial health of target companies
• Supporting financial modelling and valuation analysis
• Identifying financial risks, trends, and potential deal issues

In addition, you will contribute to broader project work, including:

• Supporting commercial due diligence for M&A and strategic initiatives
• Conducting market and industry research, including competitor and customer analysis
• Collaborating with clients to understand strategic objectives and develop recommendations
• Preparing clear, structured reports and presentations for clients
• Working with cross-functional teams and supporting project delivery
• Using EY’s AI-powered tools and data platforms to enhance analysis and efficiency

What We’re Looking For

• University degree (or final-year student) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Previous experience in finance or analytical roles is an advantage
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong grasp of leveraging AI tools efficiently for research and analytical tasks
• Fluent Latvian and English as we work with international clients.

Salary: 1700 – 2100 gross (depending on candidates’ experience)
