🎯 Role Purpose
As a Consultant Endocrinologist, you will hold ultimate clinical responsibility for diagnosing, managing, and treating a wide spectrum of endocrine, metabolic, and hormonal disorders. You will direct both inpatient and outpatient care, lead specialized multi-disciplinary metabolic teams, and mentor junior medical staff.
📋 Key Responsibilities
Requirements
Education: Medical Degree (MD / MBBS or equivalent) with formal, accredited residency and subspecialty Fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
Certifications: Active board certification or highest tier specialist qualification (e.g., UK CCT/CCST, American Board of Internal Medicine in Endocrinology, FRCPC, European Board, or equivalent)
Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience practicing independently as a registered Endocrinology Consultant in an established tertiary care hospital or center.
Licensing: Eligible for or currently holding a valid Consultant medical license i e.g., DHA, SCFHS, MOH, GMC]
Key Skills: Exceptional clinical diagnostic acumen, strong communication skills, an empathetic bedside manner, and experience utilizing modern diabetes technologies.
