About Role:
Gartner Consulting is looking for a Consultant who will work with some of the world’s largest enterprises to shape digital roadmaps, assess and improve customer experience, design data-driven performance insights, and implement technology-enabled transformation priorities. The role will combine digital and technology consulting with hands-on dashboarding, analytics and automation, leveraging Gartner’s market-leading research and benchmarks.
What you’ll do:
Work on consulting engagements for some of the world’s largest enterprises on their mission-critical priorities, including dashboarding and analytics, digital transformation, customer experience improvement and technology-enabled change that help clients improve business outcomes and accelerate value realization.
Develop and demonstrate deep expertise in areas such as Digital Transformation, Enterprise Technology Strategy, Customer Experience Assessment, Digital Benchmarking, Dashboarding and Analytics, Automation, and Transformation Program Assurance.
Understand client industry issues, exhibit structured problem-solving ability, and develop insights and recommendations based on in-depth research, Gartner benchmarks, client interviews, customer and operational data, and relevant market trends.
Design executive dashboards, scorecards and reporting frameworks that translate business, customer and operational data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Develop and automate analytical and reporting solutions using Power BI, Power Platform, Excel and other relevant tools, improving the quality, consistency and timeliness of management information.
Define key performance indicators, measurement frameworks and data requirements aligned to strategic priorities, customer outcomes and transformation objectives.
Analyze business, customer and operational data to identify trends, root causes, performance gaps and opportunities for improvement, using independent judgment to shape recommendations.
Conduct customer experience assessments, customer journey analyses, stakeholder interviews and workshops to identify pain points, service gaps, process inefficiencies and digital improvement opportunities.
Support the development of digital and technology strategies, maturity assessments, operating models, business cases, transformation roadmaps and program assurance reviews.
Use AI-enabled tools and techniques to accelerate research, synthesis, benchmarking, analysis, ideation and executive-ready deliverables, while applying appropriate quality control, source validation, confidentiality and human judgment.
Prepare high-quality outputs in the form of executive presentations, dashboards, transformation roadmaps, business cases and written recommendations, communicating results using hypothesis testing, storyboarding and data visualization techniques.
Work with globally distributed teams of consultants on client engagements and intellectual property development across multiple industry and technology domains, and support junior colleagues with research, analysis, dashboard development, story lining and deliverable quality.
What you’ll need:
3-5 years of total experience in strategy consulting, digital transformation, technology advisory, customer experience, business analytics, performance management, enterprise architecture, product strategy, IT strategy or related roles, preferably with exposure to large enterprise clients.
2+ years of experience delivering digital or technology transformation, analytics and dashboarding, customer experience improvement, operating model, program assurance or related consulting engagements.
Experience delivering consulting engagements and recommending valuable insights using customer journey mapping, customer experience or digital maturity assessments, business capability assessment, benchmarking, prioritization and roadmap development.
Demonstrated hands-on ability to design dashboards, scorecards, analytical models and automated reporting solutions using Power BI, Power Platform, Excel, SQL or similar analytics and visualization tools.
Experience translating business and stakeholder requirements into meaningful KPIs, measurement frameworks, data requirements and executive performance views, with the ability to interpret data and communicate practical implications.
Demonstrated understanding of digital transformation, customer experience, automation, cloud, data platforms, digital products and enterprise technology platforms, with the ability to translate technology opportunities into practical business and transformation actions.
Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools to improve research, synthesis, analysis, ideation, deliverable creation and speed-to-insight, with strong attention to accuracy, source validation, client confidentiality and responsible use.
Passionate about technology; tracks latest trends and their potential use to solve complex business problems, improve customer outcomes, automate processes and strengthen digital capabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a global environment, with the ability to collaborate continuously with cross-border teams and engage business, technology and data stakeholders.
A curious and inquisitive mind, with openness to new experiences and learning, strong problem-solving ability, client focus and the versatility to work effectively across strategy, analytics, customer experience and transformation topics.
Ability to create executive-ready dashboards and deliverables with clear storyline, data-backed recommendations, structured logic and practical next steps; Bachelor’s degree required, with an MBA or advanced degree in business, technology, engineering, analytics, computer science or a related field preferred.
