Consultant-Communications

Consults with internal clients to assess Communications needs and gaps. Designs, develops, and delivers Communications programs to address, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities and business needs. Assesses, develops and executes Communications projects, plans, and deliverables, including exceptional writing, editing, formatting, and design of deliverables. Creates and manages multi-disciplinary teams to address needs, including managing media, graphics, vendors, and other support teams to drive Communications plans and deliverables. Works across the system as needed to share, leverage and syndicate content to appropriate channels. Tracks efficacy of Communications programs and adapts or adjusts as necessary. Partners effectively with internal teams to access needs, recommend appropriate actions, and deliver compelling, actionable Communications plans and materials when needed.

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or other related discipline required.
  • 5-7 years relevant experience required.
  • Experience in interviewing required.
  • Exceptional, proven writing, editing and story-telling skills.
  • Experience with designing and producing a variety of communication materials required.
  • Requires proficiency in internal communications best practices, social media platforms and publishing applications.
  • Experience exhibiting professional judgment and diplomacy in handling unexpected problems and frequent interruptions required.
