Position: Consultant Cardiologist (Specialist Interests Welcome)
Salary: £105,504 – £139,882 (Negotiable, based on experience)
Location: Nottingham
Contigo Healthcare is proud to working with a leading NHS Trust to recruit a Consultant Cardiologist for a permanent role within a forward-thinking and patient-centered department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced cardiologist to become part of a modern, dynamic team that values clinical excellence and ongoing professional growth.
With the department evolving toward a 24/7 cardiology on-call service, this role offers a chance to contribute to an expanding and progressive cardiology unit.
Remuneration & Benefits:
Competitive salary – negotiable depending on experience
Relocation support – up to £20,000 (subject to eligibility)
Essential Requirements:
Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
Proven independent clinical experience at Consultant level in Cardiology
Ability to undertake 10 Programmed Activities (PAs)
Desirable Attributes:
Interest in General Cardiology, imaging, or heart failure
Experience supervising Specialist Registrars or equivalent trainees
Subspecialty interest in echocardiography, stress echo, or other advanced imaging modalities
Working Pattern & On-Call:
No current interventional cardiology support
Transitioning to 24/7 cardiology on-call service
Application Requirements:
CV must clearly demonstrate Consultant-level experience and competencies in Cardiology
Shortlisted candidates must attend:
A Technical Specification Panel (virtual attendance possible)
An Advisory Appointment Committee (in person)
