Consultant Cardiac Anesthesia & ICU – Libya
Location: Misrata – Premium Private Heart Center / University Hospital
Contract: 2 years renewable
Key Responsibilities
•Provide anesthesia for adult & pediatric cardiac surgeries (CABG, valve, congenital, TAVI, ECMO).
•TEE certification mandatory (intra-operative TEE).
•Manage post-op Cardiac ICU: ventilation, IABP, Impella, ECMO, CRRT.
•Run pre-anesthesia clinic and cardiac ER cases.
•Lead cardiac arrest team and perfusion coordination.
•Teaching and training of residents.
Requirements
•MD + DM/Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia (India, Egypt, Europe)
•minimum 5–10 years post-qualification experience in high-volume cardiac center (>300 open heart cases/year).
•Valid TEE certification (EACVI or NBE).
•Current DHA/MOH/DOH license holders = fastest processing.
•Arabic speaker = strong advantage.
•Age <55 years.
