Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Breast Cancer Specialist to join a leading healthcare institution in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive post-fellowship experience in the diagnosis and management of breast cancer, with strong expertise in multidisciplinary cancer care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive specialist care for patients with breast cancer.
• Lead the assessment, diagnosis, staging and treatment planning of breast cancer patients.
• Manage complex and advanced breast cancer cases.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with surgery, radiology, pathology and radiation oncology teams.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on current clinical guidelines and best practices.
• Provide ongoing patient follow-up and survivorship care.
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, education and research activities.
• Support the training and mentoring of junior medical staff.

Requirements

• Medical degree with appropriate specialist qualifications in Breast Cancer / Breast Oncology or a relevant specialty.
• Completion of a recognized sub-specialty fellowship.
• Preferred: 10+ years of experience after completion of the sub-specialty fellowship.
• Extensive experience in the management of breast cancer across different stages and presentations.
• Strong multidisciplinary and clinical leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills.
• Eligible for professional registration/licensing with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
