Bang & Partners is a brand-new procurement consultancy - and you can be part of it from the very beginning. The firm is founded and led by Thor Bang-Ellingsen, who over 13 years helped build Prokura - a Nordic procurement consultancy acquired by Kearney - into a global firm, and built its Norwegian business from the ground up. The opportunity

This is not a seat on someone else’s machine. As one of our first Consultants, you help lay the foundation of a new firm - how we work, what we offer, how we win - while doing real client work from day one. You own your scope early, work shoulder to shoulder with senior practitioners who have done it before, and see your work land in both the client’s numbers and the firm itself.

And this is a partner-track firm by design. Everyone who joins is on a genuine equity journey toward co-ownership. We grow the partnership deliberately and on merit - the door to becoming a co-owner is truly open, and joining early is the best seat on that journey.

What you will do

• Drive the analysis across procurement engagements - spend, categories, sourcing and negotiation - and turn it into sharp, client-ready recommendations

• Build the fact base and structured problem-solving strong engagements rest on, using modern tooling and AI to work faster and sharper

• Contribute in client workshops and stakeholder discussions

• Own your workstreams end-to-end, with a senior practitioner alongside you

• Help build Bang & Partners itself - our methods, offerings, ways of working and culture

What we are looking for

• Master's degree with a strong academic record (e.g. economics, engineering, business or a related field)

• 1-3 years of relevant experience, primarily or wholly from a leading consulting firm (within procurement or strategy) - or standout consulting internship experience

• Sharp analytical rigour and structured problem-solving

• A proactive, dependable working style and real ownership - we hire adults

• Someone energized, not daunted, by a blank page and a small, fast-moving team

• Fluent in Norwegian and English

• Genuine drive to help build something, and the ambition to grow with it

• Excited by AI as part of the craft - quick to adopt the best tools, and keen to help shape the ones we build ourselves

Procurement is our focus - but we're also open to strong supply chain profiles, an area we plan to grow.
