Consultant, Digitization Program

Role Summary

The Consultant within the Digitization Program will support the design, delivery, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of document digitization and automation solutions.

The role will work closely with Operations, Technology, Product, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into effective digitization solutions, support testing and implementation, and ensure solutions are successfully transitioned into production.

The individual will develop strong functional knowledge of business processes while contributing to the adoption of intelligent document processing, automation, AI/ML, and Generative AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Digitization & Solution Delivery

• Partner with business teams to understand document-intensive processes and identify opportunities for digitization and automation.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate business requirements into document classification, data extraction, validation, and business-rule requirements.
• Support configuration and enhancement of digitization solutions based on business needs.
• Work closely with Technology and other partners to investigate and resolve functional and solution-related issues.
• Support onboarding of new document types, processes, and business use cases onto the digitization platform.

Testing & Implementation

• Develop test scenarios and support functional testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate classification, extraction, and business-rule outcomes against defined requirements.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and coordinate resolution with appropriate stakeholders.
• Support production readiness, implementation, and post-production validation.
• Participate in hypercare activities and ensure issues are appropriately tracked through resolution.

Business & Operational Partnership

• Act as a key liaison between the Digitization Program and Operations teams.
• Develop a strong understanding of operational workflows, controls, dependencies, and business requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation and adoption.
• Provide functional guidance and knowledge support to business users during onboarding and implementation.
• Build effective relationships across Operations, Technology, Product, and other partner teams.

Continuous Improvement, AI & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, scalability, and user experience across digitization solutions.
• Contribute to the development of reusable digitization capabilities and standardized approaches.
• Support the exploration and adoption of AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities where appropriate.
• Analyze production feedback and operational trends to recommend solution improvements.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of GenAI prompts for document classification, data extraction, validation, and other digitization use cases.
• Support testing and optimization of prompts to improve the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of digitization outcomes.

Governance & Controls

• Maintain appropriate requirements, testing, implementation, and operational documentation.
• Ensure solutions are delivered in accordance with applicable governance, risk, control, and change-management requirements.
• Support issue tracking and documentation of key decisions, testing evidence, and approvals.
• Maintain a strong focus on data quality, accuracy, controls, and operational readiness throughout the solution lifecycle.

Skills & Experience

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience in business analysis, operations, technology, automation, or digitization.
• Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into clear functional requirements.
• Experience with testing, UAT, defect management, and production implementation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across business, Operations, Technology, Product, and other stakeholder groups.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and controls.
• Knowledge of document processing, workflow automation, AI/ML, or intelligent document processing is desirable.
• Experience in writing and refining prompts for Generative AI and document-processing use cases is an added advantage.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear, structured prompts for document classification, data extraction, validation, and interpretation is desirable.
• Familiarity with testing and improving prompt effectiveness, accuracy, and consistency is an added advantage.

Success in the Role

Success in this role means delivering high-quality digitization solutions that meet business requirements, supporting smooth implementation and adoption, building strong partnerships with Operations and Technology, and continuously identifying opportunities to improve document-processing efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.

The successful Consultant will also demonstrate an interest in emerging AI capabilities, with prompt engineering and experience developing effective GenAI prompts considered an added advantage as the Digitization Program continues to expand its AI-enabled solutions.

Eligibility - Internal Partners

• 24 Months as a Technical Coordinator /Associate Consultant to move as a Team Leader/Consultant
• Movement within TL and Consultant Level will be 12 months
