Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Consultant with 4-7 years of proven experience in SAP Public Cloud and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role is responsible for the administration, management, and optimization of SAP landscapes, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of SAP systems in cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SAP Basis operations, cloud migrations, and integration with SAP BTP services.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand SAP landscape requirements and design robust SAP Basis solutions for SAP Public Cloud and BTP.
• Lead the planning, execution, and management of SAP system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching in cloud environments.
• Administer and monitor SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, etc.) hosted on SAP Public Cloud, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Implement and manage integrations between SAP core systems and SAP BTP services, including connectivity, security, and data flows.
• Oversee user and authorization management, system health checks, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery planning for cloud-based SAP systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP Basis, cloud infrastructure, and BTP services.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP Basis operations, cloud architecture, and integration procedures.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and provide regular updates on project progress and system health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, with at least 2 years in SAP Public Cloud and SAP BTP environments.
• Strong understanding of SAP system architecture, cloud deployment models, and BTP service integration.
• Experience with SAP system migrations to cloud platforms and managing hybrid SAP landscapes.
• Proficiency in SAP Basis tools, cloud monitoring, and automation frameworks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions for complex SAP environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA FICO, with in-depth knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
• Possess a solid understanding of financial principles, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Lead and contribute to at least two end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, along with hands-on experience in support and enhancement engagements.
• Configure SAP systems in alignment with business requirements and collaborate closely with technical teams to support developments and enhancements.
• Engage with business stakeholders to analyze processes and recommend optimized, scalable solutions within the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of integrations across SAP modules (SD, MM) and with external systems.
• Support data migration, system integration, and testing phases (including unit, integration, and UAT).
• Exhibit strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables effectively.
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 4-7 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (SAP FICO).
• Technical Skills:
• Strong expertise in leading, designing, and configuring Finance modules (FI & CO) within the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment.
• Communication Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving Ability:
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize applications.
• Preferred Skills:
• SAP certification in SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud
• Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and broader SAP ecosystem
• Exposure to Professional Services industry best practices and digital transformation initiatives
