Salary: $90-100k + super (depending on experience

About the Company

My client is a developer who has outsourced construction to homebuilders in the past. They now wish to bring construction in-house and are looking for a Construction/Operations Administrator to apply their end-to-end construction knowledge to allow for this to happen.

My client operates across lifestyle and lease communities, retirement-style living parks and holiday parks. They continue to expand its portfolio across key metropolitan and coastal markets.

The Role:

You will support the construction, development and operations teams through the coordination, maintenance and quality assurance of project documentation and workflows.

Acting as a central point of coordination for project records and document control, you will ensure information is accurate, compliant, traceable and audit ready throughout the construction lifecycle. The role plays a key part in supporting governance, reducing compliance risk and enabling efficient project delivery across multiple projects and stakeholders.

About You:

  • 5+ years experience as an Operations Administrator, Construction Administrator, Document Controller, Compliance Administrator or similar role within construction, development or engineering.
  • Experience managing document registers, version control and approval workflows.
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation and compliance processes.
  • Confident supporting audits, compliance processes and governance requirements.
  • Experience using document management or construction systems (desirable, not essential).

Key Responsibilities

Document Control & Compliance

  • Maintain and manage construction, compliance and operational documentation across projects.
  • Coordinate pre-construction document workflows including preparation, review, approvals, revisions and archiving.
  • Maintain accurate document registers including drawings, approvals, permits, certificates and WHS records.
  • Ensure document management systems align with internal policies and governance requirements.

Project Coordination & Administration

  • Support project and site teams with document control procedures and workflow management.
  • Monitor documentation completeness and follow up outstanding or non-conforming records.
  • Assist with project handover, completion and close-out documentation.
  • Coordinate documentation requests across internal and external stakeholders.

Audit, Governance & WHS Support

  • Support internal and external audits through preparation of compliant documentation and evidence packs.
  • Assist with WHS documentation processes in line with legislation and company requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records to support compliance, traceability and governance standards.

Process Improvement & Stakeholder Management

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation systems, workflows and templates.
  • Liaise with Project Managers, site teams, consultants, contractors and operations stakeholders.
  • Support communication and coordination across multiple projects and teams.
