What You'll Do as a Construction/Concrete General Laborer:

  • Assist with preparing job sites, including grading, forming, and cleanup.
  • Set, align, & strip concrete forms for footings, walls, and slabs.
  • Place & finish concrete under the direction of the crew.
  • Load & unload materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow directions from foremen and supervisors.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Travel to job sites within approximately 50-75 miles of Fleetwood.

Our Ideal Construction/Concrete General Laborer:

  • Experienced: At least 2 years of hands-on construction experience is required; experience in concrete or excavation is a plus; comfortable using hand and power tools; ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.
  • CDL & Equipment: Class A CDL is a plus; able to load and transport equipment, including oversized loads; experience operating equipment like forklifts, excavators, loaders, or rollers is helpful.
  • Positive & Reliable: Shows up with a good attitude and takes responsibility for getting the job done.
  • Independent & Team-oriented: Works well on a crew but can also handle tasks independently.
  • Problem-solver: Uses common sense to follow instructions and work through challenges on the job.
  • Active: Able to perform heavy physical work in all weather conditions, including bending, kneeling, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 100 lbs.
  • Must provide your own basic hand tools.

What We Offer Our Construction/Concrete General Laborer:

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week (start time between 6:00-6:30 AM)
  • Weekly pay – $25-$35/hour, DOE
  • Prevailing Wage Projects Available: Opportunity to earn substantially higher hourly rates on qualifying jobs
