Construction Superintendent - Luxury Custom Residential

Marion County, FloridaOur client is a privately held custom home builder specializing in luxury single-family residences valued at $5 million and above throughout Marion County and surrounding Central Florida markets.WHY YOU WANT THIS OPPORTUNITY:They are seeking a Superintendent who understands that luxury construction is about more than building a house. It is about delivering an exceptional experience for owners, architects, designers, craftsmen, and trade partners while maintaining quality, schedule, communication, and accountability throughout the process.This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to build distinctive custom residences, work directly with ownership, and become part of a growing organization committed to excellence.This is not production homebuilding.This is not managing dozens of houses at once.This is an opportunity to oversee distinctive custom residences where craftsmanship, communication, and attention to detail matter.YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:Lead day-to-day field operations for luxury custom residential projects from sitework through certificate of occupancyCoordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and consultantsMaintain project schedules and proactively identify potential delaysConduct quality control inspections throughout all phases of constructionEnsure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and client expectationsManage homeowner, architect, and designer interactions professionally and effectivelyMaintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and organizationCoordinate material deliveries and long-lead procurement itemsConduct subcontractor meetings and communicate project status to ownershipTrack progress and maintain accurate daily reportsDO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?5+ years of Superintendent experience in residential constructionExperience building custom homes valued at $2 million to $10 million+Strong understanding of luxury finishes, millwork, stone, tile, cabinetry, and high-end residential detailsAbility to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documentsExperience coordinating multiple trades in occupied or highly visible environmentsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsStable employment history demonstrating increasing responsibilityWE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:Takes ownership of their projectsCommunicates proactively rather than reactivelyUnderstands the expectations of affluent homeownersHolds subcontractors accountable while maintaining professional relationshipsThinks ahead and solves problems before they become issuesTakes pride in delivering exceptional qualityCOMPENSATION & BENEFITSBase Salary: Up to $125,000Vehicle Allowance or Gas Card
