Construction Superintendent – Luxury Construction

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the field execution of a prestigious luxury construction project in Miami.

This opportunity is for a hands-on construction leader who understands the exceptional level of craftsmanship, coordination, precision, and attention to detail required on sophisticated luxury projects.

The right individual will lead daily field operations, coordinate specialty trades, and work closely with project management and design teams to ensure construction is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Lead daily field operations from mobilization through completion and final turnover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, specialty trades, vendors, and field personnel to maintain efficient construction progress.
• Develop and maintain short-term schedules, work plans, sequencing, and daily field coordination.
• Oversee the installation of high-end finishes, custom architectural elements, and specialty materials.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and field conditions to ensure proper execution.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and specialty scopes to identify and resolve field conflicts.
• Monitor material deliveries, long-lead items, fabrication, and installation schedules.
• Conduct regular field inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Design Managers, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve construction challenges.
• Manage inspections, punch lists, quality control, and final project turnover.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

• Proven Superintendent experience overseeing high-end construction projects.
• Strong preference for experience in luxury hospitality, branded residences, high-end retail, or ultra-luxury residential construction.
• Experience coordinating specialty trades, custom finishes, architectural details, and complex installations.
• Understanding of the craftsmanship, precision, and quality expectations associated with luxury construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, sequencing, scheduling, and field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and detailed construction documents.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, specialty vendors, fabrication, deliveries, and installation activities.
• Ability to anticipate field conflicts, resolve construction challenges, and maintain project momentum.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures, inspections, quality control, and project closeout.
• Hands-on field leader with the ability to direct subcontractors and maintain accountability.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers, designers, consultants, and project stakeholders.
