Construction Superintendent - Construction - Base Salary to 100k/year - Indianapolis, IN

• Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial and industrial construction projects in Indianapolis, IN. This position is responsible for managing daily field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring construction activities meet safety, quality, and building code requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily job site operations for commercial and industrial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and construction trades throughout all phases of construction.
• Monitor job site safety and compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and construction quality standards.
• Review construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project schedules to identify and address field issues.
• Conduct subcontractor coordination meetings and monitor construction progress against project milestones.
• Develop and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules to coordinate upcoming construction activities.
• Prepare and maintain daily construction reports, job site logs, progress photos, and project documentation.
• Perform quality control inspections to verify construction work meets project specifications and requirements.
• Coordinate building inspections and monitor compliance with applicable building codes.
• Work with project managers, subcontractors, and field personnel to address scheduling, construction, and site coordination issues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial construction, including industrial project experience, with at least 2 years in a Superintendent or Foreman role.
• Knowledge of commercial and industrial construction methods, building codes, and OSHA safety regulations.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction blueprints, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
• Experience supervising field operations, coordinating multiple subcontractors, and managing construction schedules.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 75k - 100k/year range
