Construction Superintendent
Job Type: Project Based
Pay: $50 - $60 per hour (Dependent on experience)
Per Diem & Lodging Provided

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with a strong electrical background to oversee on-site operations for a military-based construction project. This individual will lead a team of 5+ electricians while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and OSHA standards. This position is based in Georgia and will require travel.

This is a contract position with the potential for contract-to-hire based on performance and project needs.

Responsibilities
• Lead, supervise, and coordinate a crew of 5+ electricians
• Manage daily field operations to ensure project milestones are met
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and construction drawings
• Coordinate with Project Managers, General Contractors, and Inspectors
• Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety standards and site-specific protocols
• Operate heavy equipment including excavators and sky trak (telehandler)
• Maintain daily reports, job logs, and crew timekeeping
• Enforce quality control standards and ensure work meets NEC and project requirements

Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Superintendent or Foreman
• Strong commercial or industrial electrical background
• Proven ability to manage and lead field crews
• OSHA 30 Certification (Required)
• Excavator and/or Sky Trak certification (Required)
• Experience operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Ability to pass a background check for military base access
• Ability to pass a drug screening

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience on federal or military construction projects
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
