Construction Superintendent
Dayton, MN | Direct Hire | $100k-120k

Konik is partnered with a well-established commercial construction company that is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join their team. This role offers strong benefits, bonus potential, and a company vehicle allowance.

Construction Superintendent Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily activities and operations on project sites
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractor activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules
  • Direct company crews and workforce assignments
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal staff
  • Monitor project progress, complete daily logs, and maintain accurate schedules (including 3-week look-aheads)
  • Coordinate inspections with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs)
  • Uphold project quality and safety standards
  • Perform material take-offs, assist with ordering, and manage field-related costs
  • Provide training and mentorship to field personnel
  • Perform light carpentry or labor tasks as needed

Construction Superintendent Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish
  • Strong background coordinating subcontractors, schedules, and inspections
  • Solid understanding of quality and safety standards in the field
  • Ability to manage budgets, field costs, and material procurement
  • Effective communicator with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams
