We have an exciting opportunity for a positive, solutions-focused and practical Construction Solicitor to join our in-house Legal team.
Anglian Water is delivering £11 billion of capital projects, with further growth expected from 2030 onwards. We have been at the forefront of delivering capital works through alliances, and our current arrangements are due to be retendered in readiness for 2030. This is a pivotal opportunity to influence the procurement strategy and establish the commercial and legal foundations for our future alliances over the following 15 years.
This is a high-profile opportunity to influence major procurements and help shape the contracts that will underpin billions of pounds of investment in essential water and water recycling infrastructure. You'll join a supportive in-house Legal team and work at the heart of decisions that will deliver long-term value for our customers, communities and the environment.
Join us and make a difference. Our customers come from a wide range of backgrounds, and we believe our workplace should reflect that. We are committed to making sure all our colleagues feel they belong and are supported to succeed.
Together with our fellow water companies, we are committed to the Social Mobility Pledge. We are also a signatory to Business in the Community's Race at Work Charter, hold the Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award for employers, are a Disability Confident employer and play a leading part in the Women's Utilities Network.

Anglian Water supply water and water recycling services to more than six million domestic and business customers in the east of England and Hartlepool. Our services are at the heart of every single family and community in our region. We clean water to the highest standard, deliver it to millions of homes, and carefully manage it to ensure it never runs out.
We’re the largest water and water recycling company in England and Wales by geographic area. We’re also one of the driest regions in the country, with just 600 millimetres of rain each year, on average a third less than the rest of England. In fact some areas have a lower annual rainfall than Jerusalem. That’s why it’s vital that we look after the water that we’ve got.
