Job Description

As a Construction Services Sourcing Manager, you are responsible for sourcing construction and installation services for wind energy projects across Germany and other key European markets. You develop procurement strategies, lead tenders and contract negotiations, and build strong supplier and contractor networks. Working closely with Sales, Tender Management, Construction, and other business functions, you ensure commercially sound and operationally successful project execution.

YOUR TASKS

  • Lead sourcing activities for cranes, installation services, substations, and other construction-related services required for wind energy projects
  • Manage tendering processes, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations to secure competitive and reliable service solutions
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that support business objectives and project requirements across multiple markets
  • Build, qualify, and continuously develop a strong network of contractors, suppliers, and strategic partners
  • Provide cost estimates and procurement input during the sales and tender phases of projects
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks while ensuring compliance with company requirements
  • Monitor supplier performance, manage framework agreements, and provide regular reporting on achievements, risks, and improvement opportunities

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience in procurement, sourcing, contract management, or supplier negotiations, ideally in construction, infrastructure, or renewable energy
  • Proven experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing contractual risks
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently while aligning diverse interests across functions and cultures
  • Fluent German and English language skills, combined with experience in international business environments
  • Willingness to travel and a pragmatic, results-oriented mindset with strong intercultural awareness
