Reporting to the Senior Cost Management Lead, the Construction Scheduler is responsible for driving the delivery of the
capital delivery programme through robust planning, scheduling, and performance management. The role ensures
programme predictability, integrates cost, risk, and schedule data, and promotes a culture of proactive schedule
management across contractors, consultants, and internal teams. By enabling informed decision-making and embedding
best practice, the Schedule Lead directly contributes to successful programme outcomes.
· Develop, maintain and validate project and programme schedules, ensuring alignment with programme objectives,
budgets and delivery milestones.
· Analyse schedule risks, dependencies, scope changes and delays, providing early warning indicators and supporting
accurate programme forecasting.
· Performance Monitoring & Reporting against approved baselines, identify variances, recommend corrective actions
and provide timely reporting to senior management.
· Cost, Risk & Budget Integration - Work closely with cost and risk teams to ensure schedules support forecasting,
cashflow planning, annual budget processes and integrated programme reporting.
· Facilitate collaboration across design, construction, capacity planning and programme teams to ensure alignment of
schedules and key programme milestones.
· Provide schedule analysis, project timelines and performance insights to management to support effective decision-
making and programme governance.
· Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, responding promptly to
scheduling queries and information requests.
· Promote consistent scheduling methodologies, support capability development and drive continuous improvement in
scheduling practices across the programme
