This is an exciting opportunity for those interested in a unique, fast-paced environment that provides unique challenges and problems to solve on a day-to-day basis. You will be in the Facilities Management department but will be providing services to other departments in the County. As a key member of our supervisory team, you will oversee a team of design and construction project managers working on all phases of construction project management from concept through execution. Construction project managers reporting to this position work on a wide array of complex projects in the office and field, and collaboration is key. You will supervise the team and work in partnership with other departments to develop and implement capital projects, solve emergencies, and strategize short and long-term solutions related to design and construction. You will oversee workflow and processes, standards, policies, and procedures for the capital team.

How to be Successful in the Role:
Bring your strategic and problem-solving skills and guide your staff by using your strong program and project management skills. We are looking for a team player and great communicator who will work with consultants, contractors, elected officials, other jurisdictions, the general public, and across division and department boundaries. As a strategic leader with a proven track record and developed strong skills in capital planning, you need to exhibit a solid technical understanding engineering and permitting, contracting for A/E and construction, budgets, and the construction process for public work.
