Our client, a respected semi-state organisation, is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join their team based in Dublin 2, operating under a hybrid working model This role will oversee the delivery of residential and regeneration projects across Ireland, managing developments through the construction phase and supporting earlier project stages where required. You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery nationwide. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and commercial acumen, proven leadership ability, and extensive experience delivering large-scale residential construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of residential projects through the construction stage of the development lifecycle.
Manage and coordinate design teams from a technical, programme, and budgetary perspective.
Oversee main contractors and consultants to ensure contractual compliance and performance.
Develop and manage detailed project programmes, milestones, and delivery schedules.
Monitor project budgets, cost control, and reporting throughout construction.
Liaise with key stakeholders including local authorities, utilities, and development partners.
Ensure compliance with planning conditions, building regulations, and best practice standards.
Support tender, design, and procurement processes for large residential construction projects.
Provide leadership and technical expertise across all stages of project delivery, including risk management and value engineering.
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Construction Management or a similar senior project delivery role.
Recognised degree-level qualification in construction, engineering, or development.
Proven track record delivering large-scale residential construction projects
Strong knowledge of the Irish planning, development, and construction sector
Excellent stakeholder, consultant, and contractor management skills.
Willingness to travel nationwide to project sites as required.
