As a Project Manager within Turner and Townsend's Principal Delivery team, you will play a key role in delivering projects end-to-end, moving beyond traditional consultancy into true project ownership. You will be part of an integrated delivery team responsible for managing the full lifecycle of projects—from design and procurement through to construction and handover.

We are seeking a hands-on Construction Project Manager with significant fit-out experience and a proven track record of managing projects through the execution phase. The successful candidate will be highly delivery-focused, with extensive experience coordinating and managing multiple subcontractors on site, driving programme performance, resolving construction issues, and ensuring successful project delivery through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of construction and fit-out projects from inception through to completion.
• Take ownership of the construction execution phase, ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Manage and coordinate all subcontractors throughout the construction lifecycle, driving performance, accountability, and collaboration across the project team.
• Manage programme, cost, quality, and risk to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Coordinate design, procurement, and construction activities within an integrated delivery model.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage contractor and supplier performance, driving accountability and high standards of delivery.
• Support procurement strategies, including engagement with supply chain partners.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations, timelines, and budget expectations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and standardisation across project delivery.
• Ensure T&T QHSE practices and processes are fully embedded in each project.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Construction, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Working towards or holding a professional accreditation (e.g. RICS, APM, or similar) is desirable.
• Minimum 5 years' proven experience delivering construction and fit-out projects in an on-site, hands-on Project Management capacity.
• Significant experience managing projects during the construction execution phase, including direct coordination of multiple subcontractors and suppliers.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, contractor management, site operations, health & safety, and project delivery.
• Experience within commercial fit-out, workplace, industrial, logistics, data centre, or corporate real estate projects is highly desirable.
