The pay range is $73,000.00 - $132,000.00

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. A role in Construction means leading the execution of the new store, remodel,supply chainand merchant innovationprojects. From large program rollouts to unique special projects, and large-format ground-up construction, you’ll help manage the scope, schedule and budget for all Target construction projects, including adhering to the project timeline, coordinating and overseeing the onsite construction process andturnover. You’ll keepallthe players and partners aligned with effective communication between vendors, general contractors, field leadership and project teams.

As a Construction Project Manager,youwill manage cross-functionalteams as yourefinescopes anddevelopbudgets and schedules andoverseethe construction and fixture installationprocess forassigned projectsto meet the established goals and objectives. By reviewing and analyzing contractor bids, you will make recommendations and approve subcontractor bids, conduct contract negotiations, review and approve changes to the contract and applications for payments, and close out all necessarycontracts. You’ll conductperiodic meetings to monitor the activities and budgets of other departments that affect the projects. You will be responsible for project completion within approved budget, which includes obtaining, reviewing, and maintaining the budget input from other documents. In this role, ensuring Target quality control standards are being achieved oneachproject is key.

About you:

•4-yeardegreeor equivalent technical degree; degree in ConstructionManagement, Engineeringor Architecturepreferred

•2-6 years’ experience in construction project management

•Ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects with key focus on estimating, budgeting and scheduling management.

•Highly self-motivated and committed to the development of high-quality work and productivity

•Inclusive collaborator and facilitator

•Strong written & verbalcommunication skills

•Ability to negotiateand resolve conflict

•Strongorganizational andtechnology skills

•Periodic project travel

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
