Your Next Chapter Starts Here

At Granger Construction, we believe great projects start with great people — united in purpose, grounded in integrity, and committed to building something that matters. Our self‑perform teams play a critical role in that mission, bringing craftsmanship, pride, and hands‑on expertise to the work we deliver every day.
We’re looking for a Construction Project Manager who is passionate about building, energized by collaboration, and motivated by doing things the right way — for our teams, our partners, and the communities we serve.
What You’ll DoAs a Construction Project Manager at Granger, you’ll take ownership of planning and executing the scopes our crews deliver — ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.
You will:
  • Serve as a key liaison between the CM project team, field leadership, foremen, and self‑perform crews — keeping communication clear and aligned.
  • Plan and manage self‑perform work for concrete, general trades, or other assigned scopes, with attention to detail and strong coordination with supers and foremen.
  • Develop short‑interval plans, look‑ahead schedules, and daily work plans to support field teams and maintain project momentum.
  • Manage scope‑specific RFIs, submittals, and procurement, ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are ordered, delivered, and ready when needed.
  • Monitor labor hours, productivity, and budgets, adjusting as needed to stay on track and drive efficiency.
  • Proactively problem‑solve to remove obstacles and support crew success.
  • Champion safety, reinforcing best practices and partnering with our safety team to lead by example.
  • Support closeout efforts for your scope, contributing to high‑quality results and minimal punch list items.

What You Bring

  • Experience managing self‑perform work (concrete, carpentry, or general trades preferred)
  • A collaborative, team‑focused mindset
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with both field and office teams
  • Solid organizational habits and comfort navigating multiple moving parts
  • A passion for building — and building the right way
  • A commitment to safety, integrity, and quality

What Sets You Apart

  • Emotional intelligence to foster collaboration across diverse teams.
  • A builder’s mindset with a focus on innovative, client-centered solutions.

Why Granger?
