SERVPRO Team Fosdick is seeking a disciplined, execution-focused Construction Project Manager to manage residential and commercial reconstruction projects within an insurance restoration environment. This position reports directly to the Construction Manager and is responsible for executing approved scopes of work within defined budgets, timelines, and documentation standards.
The Project Manager is responsible for managing reconstruction projects from handoff of approved estimate through final billing and project closeout. The PM owns:

  • Schedule execution
  • Budget adherence
  • Subcontractor coordination
  • Documentation accuracy
  • Customer communication

Success in this role requires structured planning, proactive communication, and financial discipline.
Key Responsibilities 1️⃣ Budget & Financial Ownership

  • Execute projects within approved estimate and labor budgets
  • Track labor hours vs allowed weekly
  • Identify scope gaps immediately
  • Escalate supplement needs early
  • No billing credits issued without Construction Manager approval

2️⃣ Schedule & Execution Discipline

  • Build and maintain a written project schedule
  • Sequence trades appropriately
  • Document schedule changes
  • Minimize cycle time delays
  • Proactively resolve jobsite bottlenecks

3️⃣ Customer Communication

  • Set realistic expectations at project start
  • Provide consistent progress updates
  • Address concerns directly and professionally
  • Document all significant communication

4️⃣ Documentation & System Compliance

  • Maintain accurate job records in DASH
  • Upload schedules, change orders, and approvals
  • Ensure job files are audit-ready
  • Maintain complete project documentation from start to finish

5️⃣ Subcontractor Management

  • Coordinate and hold subcontractors accountable
  • Verify scope completion
  • Ensure quality standards are met
  • Control subcontractor costs

Qualifications

  • 3+ years managing multiple residential construction projects
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills
  • Experience with insurance restoration preferred
  • Familiarity with Xactimate preferred
  • Familiarity with DASH preferred
  • Comfortable managing budgets and financial targets
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally
  • High personal accountability and integrity
