PMO Squad Staffing is seeking an onsite Construction Project Manager to drive a diverse portfolio of construction and facilities projects for our client in the defense sector. This is a contract consulting opportunity leading highly visible projects in support of a large corporate campus. This person will be working directly with corporate facilities teams and external contractors to successfully deliver project outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing construction and facilities projects such as building decommissioning and renovations, roadwork improvements, and HVAC and generator installations.

Position 6-month contract; potential C2H upon successful completion of contract.

Pay $55-$65/hr. DOE

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead day-to-day management of multiple construction projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Provide subcontractor management including bid review and contract administration.
• Manage project documentation - including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards; conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality standards.
• Monitor costs, track variances, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain budget adherence.
• Lead project closeout activities, including punch lists, commissioning, and final client turnover.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and professionalism on all job sites.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience managing construction projects in relevant sectors (building renovations, infrastructure, and/or MEP systems).
• Previous experience building and managing construction project schedules and budgets.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, safety standards, and project management best practices.
• Experience managing subcontractors and external vendors.
• Broad understanding of a variety of construction projects
• Able to work independently or collaboratively as needed to drive successful project outcomes.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
