TSMC Arizona is looking for a Construction Project 6S Technician to join our fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. This role supports the successful execution of life safety systems construction and installation processes. You will work closely with contractors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure and maintain the cleanliness and 6S at the project construction site

6S refers to improving efficiency, quality, and safety by enhancing the work environment. (1) Seiri: Distinguish between necessary and unnecessary items and remove useless items from the workplace. (2) Seiton: Place necessary items in designated locations in specified quantities, clearly labeled, to reduce search time. (3) Seiso: Remove dirt from the workplace and always maintain a clean environment. (4) Seiketsu: Institutionalize and standardize the first three steps and conduct regular checks to consolidate the results. (5) Shitsuke: Cultivate good habits and discipline among employees, comply with standards, and foster team spirit. (6) Safety: Prioritize safety, eliminate hazards, and prevent industrial safety accidents.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage construction site housekeeping and 6S implementation across construction to operational areas
  • Lead contractor activities to maintain site cleanliness, organization, and compliance with project standards
  • Conduct routine 6S inspections, audits, and deficiency tracking to ensure continuous improvement
  • Coordinate cleaning schedules, manpower allocation, and work execution with contractors and project teams
  • Support construction turnover and cleanroom readiness activities by maintaining required cleanliness standards
  • Collaborate with Construction, EHS, Quality, and Facility teams to ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping requirements
  • Monitor contractor performance and implement corrective actions to improve housekeeping quality
  • Prepare and maintain inspection records, audit reports, and 6S performance metrics

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in construction

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in reporting tools, mainly Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoints, etc.)
  • Familiarity with the knowledge and capabilities of professional cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Knowledge of 6S/5S methodology and continuous improvement practices.

Execution and Coordination:

  • Align with the vendor's plan, conducting audits and supervising the implementation based on TSMC requirements
  • Experience in construction site management, facility management, or industrial housekeeping.

Communication Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to provide updates and support coordination efforts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with contractors and internal teams.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. as needed.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring extended periods of standing, bending, or walking.
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, which may include exposure to cleanroom conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with ISO Class standards or cleanroom gowning protocols
