Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
Some people like sitting behind a desk.
Others would rather be out building something that matters.
If you're the type of person who enjoys seeing the results of your hard work at the end of the day, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
We're searching for a Construction Operator to join our team in Invercargill, helping deliver a wide range of capital works, renewals and upgrades across the region's water, wastewater and storm water networks. From installing pipelines and repairing critical assets to operating machinery and supporting emergency response activities, no two days are quite the same.
One day you might be working alongside a crew installing new infrastructure that will serve the community for decades. The next, you could be operating plant, solving practical challenges on site or supporting planned works that keep essential services running smoothly.
This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in doing quality work and likes being part of a team that gets things done. You'll work alongside experienced operators, supervisors and engineers, contributing to projects that improve the reliability and resilience of essential networks across Southland.
We're looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a willingness to get stuck in. In return, you'll join a supportive team environment where your contribution is valued, your development is encouraged and the work you do has a genuine impact on the local community.
If you enjoy practical work, thrive outdoors and want to play a part in delivering critical infrastructure that people rely on every day, we'd love to hear from you.
