Construction Operations Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing construction contractor seeking a commercially astute Construction Operations Manager to support the delivery and performance of projects across refurbishment, voids, maintenance and MoD-related works.
This is a broad, hands-on management role for someone who understands construction from both an operational and commercial perspective. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play an important role in supporting project delivery, maintaining operational standards and contributing to the overall performance of the business.
The business is looking for someone well rounded - a construction professional who is confident overseeing operational activity, supporting commercial decisions and helping ensure projects are delivered efficiently, practically and profitably.
This is not a purely site-based role, nor is it a purely office-based commercial position. It requires someone capable of bridging both sides - someone who can understand what is happening on the ground while also contributing to pricing, tendering, estimating and wider operational performance.
The company delivers a varied range of works, so this opportunity would suit someone with a solid construction background and experience across refurbishment, voids, maintenance, small works or similar project environments.
