Seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a leading general contracting firm specializing in federal government projects, design-build, and heavy civil/vertical construction. This role provides strategic oversight and management of operations to ensure timely, on-budget project execution while driving efficiency and compliance in a high-stakes government environment. • Anticipated salary: $200,000 - $250,000 base, plus discretionary performance bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and oversee project execution for timely completion and financial performance.
• Manage resources, optimize processes, and coordinate with teams/subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues, ensure safety/compliance, and analyze data for improvements.
• Oversee bid analysis, subcontractor buy-out, and participate in corporate strategic planning.
• Interview and hire operations personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in building construction or civil engineering required.
• Minimum 15 years of construction experience.
• Expertise managing all project divisions (architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical).
• Strong communication, technical writing, conflict resolution, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Understanding of financial accounting systems.
