
Under the direction of the medical center's Engineering Supervisor of Construction, the Construction Mechanic I is responsible for the implementation of the medical center's in-house construction projects. With expertise is 3 major construction trades, and familiarity with all phases of construction, is directly involved with the projects from demolition to the installation of finishes.
Additional InformationKnowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local building and safety codes. Two years experience in construction and two years experience in Hospital environment. Proficient in three major trades, with experience and knowledge in all others. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sectional drawings, technical specification and manufactures equipment bulletins. Ability to inspect, test, repair and replace electrical circuits, equipment and appliances. Knowledge of management and organization principles and practices. Some experience with information technologies, and telephone systems.
Compensation Range
$25.13 - $37.96 / Hour
