We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager Liaison to provide leadership, coordination, and oversight for the I-80 Corridor Construction Management (CCM) from East of Ridge Rd to US 30 in Will County, Illinois. This role serves as the primary liaison between Construction Managers, Design Corridor Managers, public agencies, utility companies, railroads, contractors, and stakeholder groups to ensure successful project delivery.

The Impact You'll Make

• The Construction Manager Liaisons (must be an Illinois Licensed Professional Engineer).
• Coordination and project management of the existing and future Phase III engineering services contracts associated with the corridor.
• Constructability reviews.
• Review of contract packaging and timing of construction contracts.
• Coordination with utilities and railroads.
• Coordination with the various Phase III Construction Managers and with the Design Corridor Manager.
• Coordinate communication, including press releases and updating the project website.
• Assisting with construction claims review and resolution.

The Expertise You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Current Illinois Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience managing major transportation infrastructure or public works construction projects.
• Extensive experience with Phase III Construction Engineering and transportation project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of IDOT policies, procedures, standards, and contract administration practices.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating with utility companies, railroads, government agencies, consultants, and contractors.
• Experience conducting constructability reviews and evaluating project delivery strategies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• CCM, GEC, and/or PMO experience is preferred.
