The opportunity

At Hitachi Energy, construction excellence is about more than delivering projects — it’s about building trust, safety, and long‑term value. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex construction projects from pre‑mobilization through completion, ensuring every phase is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

As a Construction Project Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in translating project plans into on‑site execution. You will collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to proactively manage schedules, costs, and quality. This role provides meaningful ownership, real decision‑making authority, and the chance to influence outcomes on high‑impact energy infrastructure projects.

You will join a team that values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. If you are motivated by problem‑solving, site leadership, and delivering work you can be proud of, this role offers both challenge and growth in a supportive, safety‑driven environment.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Manage construction projects from tender handover through site completion
  • Review estimates, schedules, and RFQ packages to support effective execution
  • Lead pre‑mobilization planning and site readiness activities
  • Support site managers through kickoff meetings and ongoing coordination
  • Oversee change order tracking, validation, and documentation
  • Ensure quality activities, as‑builts, and ITPs are completed and recorded
  • Collaborate with project managers to maintain cost and scope alignment
  • Conduct site visits and provide hands‑on construction support as needed

Your background

  • Experience managing construction or site‑based projects
  • Knowledge of subcontracting, change management, and site coordination
  • Ability to work across schedules, drawings, and contract documentation
  • Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
  • Comfort working in active construction environments
  • Willingness to complete internal site management certification
