As a Construction Manager within Global Engineering Services (GES) North America (NA) Design & Construction (D&C), you are Amazon's owner's representative throughout the full construction lifecycle. You play an integral role in delivering the built facilities and infrastructure that power Amazon's logistics network — including sortation centers, delivery stations, and auxiliary buildings — through new builds, retrofits, and expansions.
In this role, you serve as the primary point of interface between Amazon and its external partners — developers, general contractors, design engineers, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) — while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders responsible for equipping, furnishing, and operating our facilities. You are accountable for the safe, on-time, in scope, and on-budget delivery of construction projects, and you bring a disciplined approach to budget management, schedule oversight, contract execution, and quality assurance.
You operate with a high degree of independence within your assigned region, managing multiple concurrent projects while maintaining clear and transparent communication with all project stakeholders. This role combines construction management, engineering, project planning, contract management, and facilities delivery — and requires approximately 60% regional travel within North America.
This role requires 60% regional travel on a yearly basis. When not traveling, you must have availability to work from a corporate office. Candidates should either live near or be willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of one of the corporate office locations listed. Relocation assistance may be provided.

We embrace new ways of doing things, make decisions quickly, and are not afraid to fail. We have the scope and capabilities of a large company, and the spirit and heart of a small one.
Together, Amazonians research and develop new technologies from Amazon Web Services to Alexa on behalf of our customers: shoppers, sellers, content creators, and developers around the world.
Our mission is to be Earth's most customer-centric company. Our actions, goals, projects, programs, and inventions begin and end with the customer top of mind.
You'll also hear us say that at Amazon, it's always "Day 1." What do we mean? That our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon's very first day - to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and focus on delighting our customers.
