About this role:

The Construction Manager will support the construction team. You’ll be responsible for the coordination of a project team responsible for the management of customers, subcontractors, and vendors for design-build Energy Savings Projects.

Responsibilities:

• Leads project plans, schedules, and budgets for projects under his/her responsibility, and identifies, develops, and gathers necessary resources to ensure project completion.
• Manages aspects of a project: allocates resources, drives strategic planning, and assigns tasks to ensure targets are met.
• Prepares reports to communicate the status of the project within the project team.
• Sets objectives and guides the team to meet project targets, budgets, and milestones.
• Identifies project problems and recommends solutions, such as reallocating resources, changing contractual specifications, and assisting resolution development.
• May act as primary contact with the customer and develops a professional relationship to understand the customer needs and meet demands within the contracted scope.
• Supports the business development team with writing proposals for projects and may have contact with executives of the client to ensure that clients receive accurate, timely, and clear information.

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree
● 5+ years of experience in Construction Management

Preferred Qualifications
● Ability to read structural, mechanical, electrical, control and life safety system plans

● 5+ years of experience in Federal Energy Savings Projects
● 5 + years of experience in operational efficiencies of buildings
● Familiar with startup and commissioning procedures of HVAC and direct digital control systems
● Thorough knowledge of HVAC systems and direct digital control architecture

● Ability to read structural, mechanical, electrical, control and life safety system plans
● Prior experience with an ESCO company
● Familiar with startup and commissioning procedures of HVAC and direct digital control systems
● Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word and Excel

● Ability to travel 50% of the time
